1. Information We Collect
To help you remember birthdays and plan gifts, keki collects your basic profile information (name, email) and the data you input about your friends (names, birthdays, interests, and vibes).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use this data strictly to provide keki's core features: sending you push notifications before a friend's birthday, organizing your gift cart, and generating personalized AI suggestions.
3. Artificial Intelligence
keki uses Google's Gemini AI to generate gift suggestions and virtual gift messages. When you request a gift idea, we send your friend's listed traits (era, vibe, interests) to our AI provider. We do not send your friend's real name or contact information to the AI, and AI providers do not train models on your inputs.
4. Profile Pictures
Profile photos are stored in Firebase Storage and reviewed automatically by Google Cloud Vision SafeSearch. Images flagged as adult, violent, or otherwise inappropriate are removed automatically. We log moderation actions for safety review but do not share image data with third parties.
5. Data Security
Your data is securely stored using industry-standard cloud databases (Firebase). We do not sell your personal data or your friends' data to third-party advertisers. Subscription purchases are processed by Apple — we never see your payment information.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account in the iOS app. Doing so permanently wipes your profile, friendships, wishlist, gift cart, and all related data within 24 hours.
7. Children
keki is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 13, we delete it.
